Christmas 12.25.13

Merry Christmas!!!  Logan and I woke this morning to find that Santa did indeed stop by last night and man were we good this year!  Norman got his highly anticipated candy cane bone and Logan and I got oodles and oodles of delightful goodies.  Does anyone ever grow out of the magic of a Christmas morning?  Gosh, I hope not!  So, after opening presents to our hearts delight, we had a quick breakfast and then it was off to Papa and Grandma's for more Christmas fun.
Once we got the plastic off Norman's bone, he couldn't get outside fast enough to roll on it, thus claiming for all the world to know, that that bone was his!

I love watching people open gifts.  Priceless.

Cool globe Logan.

Disney Infinity stuff.

I love my new red scarf.

Some time ago, I got nominated to be the official present passer outer.  I actually quite enjoy it...handing everyone gifts, even if they're not from me.  Stepping back and surveying the joy and laughter as we open these wonderful treasures from each other.  I sure hope that Logan has this kind of delight and joy on Christmas forever.  It was a wonderful afternoon spent with a family that I adore, but eventually we had to pack up as I was taking Logan and Norman out to Ron and Dianne's so he could have Christmas dinner with Mike and the family out there.  Lucky for me, I was invited to stay for a delicious Appletini, before heading back to Papa and Grandmas.  As I headed home that evening, exhausted, but oh so content, I couldn't help but think...Christmas is special for so many reasons, but right there at the top of the list has to be family.
Skylanders.

We got Kim a plethora of movies, all wrapped up in a photo box.

My little Shaneo...not so little anymore.

The boys in all their Old Navy pullovers that I got them.
I couldn't leave the girls out, including myself of course!

He really did ask for a remote control helicopter.

We all went in together to get Mike this new coat.  Doesn't he look great in it?

I found this birdfeeder for Papa that I thought would suit him well.

One spoiled Grandma...she deserves it!
