Day Five: It was our LEGOLAND day! And man oh man were we excited! After getting ready and packing up our stuff (we knew we'd be at the park long after we were suppose to be checked out of our room, so the hotel offered to hold our luggage for us while we spent the day at the park), we had a delicious buffet breakfast and then headed in! Because we were staying at the hotel, we got to get into the park an hour before the general public...AWESOME!!! What can I say about LEGOLAND?!?!? It far exceeded my expectations! The rides were very fun. The LEGO creations were amazing! The food was good. The variety of experiences to have was awesome! And the crowds were minimal. The day went way too fast. I would definitely come back again and perhaps spend a couple days as we didn't quite get to experience everything we would have liked to. But, we also knew that we had a drive ahead of us, so we wanted to leave by 5:00. And as it worked it out, it was perfect. We swung by the coast for some dinner on the beach at this delicious fish and chip joint, ran around on the beach, and then piled in for the long drive back to the resort. Julie was smart and took us home in a much more direct route! It was a long and wonderful day!
We made it!!
Sky Cruiser
Fairy Tale Brook
Safari Trek
These rocks were motion activated...when they detected motion they would start singing, "We Will Rock You!" Awesome!!!
After completing Driving School, Logan felt like he could take over the roads!
Captain Cranky's Challenge...I love Logan's face in this picture.
Who's scarier? Darth Vader or Logan???
Lost Kingdom Adventure
Royal Joust
On our way out, Logan decided to take a break by this LEGO Guest.
We didn't let them stay for long, but man was it fun down at the beach.
It was a little chilly though...so Logan got my sweater while I froze. Jeesh. ;o)
