Race Car Construction 1.27.14

What a happy coincidence that a day I had off from work was a day that Logan's teacher requested volunteers to come in and help the kids put the finishing touches on their race cars!  The kids had all been working really hard on their cars and earning extras along the way, such as people, or stripes, or numbers, etc.  They made posters advertising their race cars and even got to make a short commercial.  It was such a great project that required them to utilize many different skills.  By the time I was able to come in and help out, they had "purchased" the type of car they wanted, painted it, and were ready for wheels, people, and decorations.  What a fun day!

Originally Mrs. D put me in charge of this machine...luckily one of the dad's came along and I was off the hook.

The Gold Crusher is ready for race day!

Look at all those awesome cars!
