Derby Car Race 2.18.14

Vroom!  IT'S RACE DAY!!!  After months of preparing, it was here...the big race!  The 2nd grade teachers put on such a fun evening.  All the cars were on display before the big race, then we got to watch the commercials...Logan was first!  SO CUTE!!  Then it was time for the main event.  Logan did not race until the second round so there was a lot of waiting and watching, but it was fun to see all the kids and the pride they had in their cars.  After the race, it was time for Rootbeer floats and an activity for the kids.  Their goal...make a container to protect an egg from being dropped from the top of a ladder.  So fun!  Thanks again teachers!  You rock!!
