On the road 10.11.13

My cousin was getting married this weekend on the other side of the state and a bunch of us were headed over to attend the wedding.  Logan already had a half day this Friday and every Friday is early release for us, so Mom and Dad picked up Logan from school for me and then I met all of them and Shane at Kim's bank around 1:00.  We grabbed a bite to eat for lunch and then got on the road.  We figured it would take us about 5 hours to get to our hotel and knowing how boring kids can find long car rides, I had stopped by the Dollar Store a few days prior to our trip and picked up some stuff for Logan and Shane in hopes of making the drive a little bit more fun.  They got a bag of goodies after every hour on the road.  Their first bag had these awesome moustaches in them!  As it turned out, this was one of their favorite things!  It seemed to take forever to get there, but we finally made it.  Once we got all checked in (about 7:00pm), Dad, Mom, Kim, and Shane all wanted to go get some dinner, but Logan and I really weren't hungry so we changed and headed down to the pool.  It was so great because no one else was in there.  We had the entire place to ourselves!!  Fun times!
