Tillamook 8.2.14

Today we headed inland to go to the Tillamook Cheese Factory and oh what a treat it was!  We got to take a tour of the factory to see them making cheese, read up on their history, sample some delicious cheeses, have a very tasty lunch, and finish with some ice cream!  Then it was off to Cape Meares to take in the beautiful views and tour the lighthouse. While we were there we were able to see what they call the Octopus Tree.  It's this huge beautiful tree that has grown to look much like an octopus.  It was another great vacation day.
