Astoria 8.4.14

Today we headed north to Astoria.  We began our Astoria adventure with a climb up the Astoria Column.  Then it was a trolley ride up and down the waterfront.  We stopped at a great brewery for lunch and then it was off to the Columbia River Maritime Museum.  The museum itself is awesome, but right now they are having a special exhibit...a 3-D film titled SEA REX about prehistoric sharks.  Logan, Shane, and I really wanted to watch the film, so the rest of the family hung out and looked at the rest of the museum while we caught the flick.  It was really cool and a great way to end our day in Astoria.
