Today Logan and I went to the tulip fields. What a treat it is to have such access every year to this beautiful event. I've been bringing Logan out to see the tulips every spring since he was just 6 months old and bless his little heart, he's not tired of it yet. I do wonder just how many more years he'll be up for looking at a bunch of flowers. :o) Every year we try to go with either Karen and the boys or Mom, Kim, and Shane, but this year schedules were tight and I really wanted to avoid going on a weekend, so one day after work, I picked Logan up from daycare and we just headed out by ourselves. Logan did convince me to let him get his face painted again this year...that's one reason that he'll keep coming back, I guess. Anyway, the flowers were absolutely beautiful as always.
Logan loves getting his face painted whenever there is an opportunity. Today he went for flames on the eyes. He says it makes him faster! :o)
Do we live in a beautiful area or what?
Logan wanted his picture taken with the red flowers, as red is his favorite color.
I love that he still wants to smell them all.
